Welcome to Snap, operated by Snap Global Sdn Bhd ("Snap", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Snap mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

Snap provides AI-powered ingredient safety recommendations, product transparency tools, and personalized suggestions based on publicly available data and user inputs. Snap is designed for informational purposes only.

2. User Responsibilities

By using Snap, you agree:

• You are at least 18 years old or have parental consent.

• You will provide accurate information where requested.

• You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information in the App.

• You will not misuse, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the App.

3. Disclaimers

• Snap does not provide medical, dermatological, or professional advice.

• All ingredient information and safety scores are based on publicly available sources and are not verified or endorsed by Snap.

• Snap does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any product or ingredient information.

• Use of the App is at your own risk.

4. Use of Uploaded Content

If you upload a photo or submit product information:

• You grant Snap a limited license to use, display, or store the content within the App.

• You confirm you have the rights to share that content.

• We may use your uploaded product photo as a temporary placeholder for that product in the system.

5. Intellectual Property

All content and materials in Snap (except user submissions) are owned by Snap or its licensors and protected under intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our written permission.

6. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to Snap if we believe you have violated these terms or applicable laws.

7. External Content and Links

Snap may display information or images from third-party products or sources. We do not control or endorse such content and are not responsible for its accuracy or legality.

8. Limitation of Liability

Snap is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App. Ingredient data and AI suggestions are for informational use and not guaranteed.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in Malaysian courts.

12. Acceptable Use & AI Misuse

You agree to use Snap and its AI features only for their intended purpose: providing ingredient safety insights and product transparency for personal decision-making.

You may not use the App to:

• Upload or submit false, misleading, harmful, or defamatory content

• Attempt to manipulate, test, or override the behavior of the AI in abusive ways

• Use the AI to generate, store, or share inappropriate, offensive, illegal, or harmful content

• Access or attempt to access the AI backend, database, or system logic through reverse engineering, scraping, or unauthorized means

• Share output from the AI in a way that falsely implies professional, medical, or legal advice

Snap reserves the right to monitor usage and suspend or permanently ban users who violate this policy.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snap Global Sdn Bhd, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on any AI-generated or ingredient-related content.

12. No Warranty

Snap is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or suitable for your specific purposes. All risks associated with your use of the App rest solely with you.

13. Content Management

Snap reserves the right to remove, edit, or restrict any content you upload if it violates these Terms, infringes intellectual property, is harmful, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion. This includes product photos, names, or any input through the AI or app interface.

14. Brand Content and Intellectual Property

Snap may display product names, brand logos, packaging visuals, and ingredient data related to third-party products. All such content remains the intellectual property of their respective owners. Use of this content on the Snap platform is for informational purposes only.

Snap is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any brands, retailers, or product manufacturers unless explicitly stated through a formal partnership.

If Snap enters into a commercial partnership or collaboration with any brand or retailer, that relationship will be clearly disclosed within the App. All other product content remains independent of brand influence.

15. User Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas submitted by users regarding the Snap App may be used by Snap for any purpose, including product improvement, without compensation or obligation to the user.

16. Force Majeure

Snap shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, internet failures, server downtime, government restrictions, or external service outages.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
